Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 is the continued journey of Issac Clake and his adventures through space. He is battling an alien creautre race which takes over the human body and changes it into a live host for which the virus can continue to grow and consume other organisms.

The story line for this game is tight. Issac wakes up in the medical section of a space station called the Sprawl and is right away attacked by the creatures that he has been fighting against since the first one. Is there anyway for Issac to come out of this fight for survial alive? Or is our hero doomed to die in a horrorible way yet again.

The Multiplayer is awesome because the players can the chance to play as the necromorphs and are battling it out with the sercurty teams on the Sprawl. Its a life or death battle but I am sure it will draw more people in to play the campaign just because of the awesommness.

Gears of War

So I found out the other day that Geras of War 3 is being pushed back to some time next Fall when it was orginally scheduled to be released in April of this 2011. That is a big downer to me because I have been looking forward to this game for the longest time. I have been playing Gears of War the first one for the pass several weeks to get the last achievement on it which is Seriouly...

Then there is Gears of War 2 which is also a good game but sadly I have heard that EPIC will cut off their support to the game when Gears 3 comes out. How can they do that to such an awesome game? Its beyoud me but whatever. Class is about to start and I need to get in there. Look forward to my next post some time next week.

Merry Christmas

It grinds my gears to hear people say Happy Holidays. They are including Thanksgiving when that holiday has already come and gone. The whole reason it does grind my gears is because no one says Merry Christmas anymore. How can you forget about the Merriness in Christmas when some much good stuff happens this time of year. I mean come on man.

Christmas isjust around the corner and I still have shopping to do. I know in my last blog posting I stated that I like to sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds but I also like to get into the action of buying and selling during this time of year. Who would pass up the ability to make a few extra dollars so you can spend it on loved ones?

The time after

The few days after thanksgiving is when the Christmas shoppers really get their game faces on. They go out and look for the lately toys and gatives to get their loved ones. Me personally I just sit back and enjoy the lights, the sound of oven as it bakes cookies and cooks other items.

Christmas in my opinion has become to commerzied. There is no love to be had of other people that are less fortunet then us. I love my fellow man and am willing to help them out but others aren't. Sure there are people that say they do but actions speak louder than words. Its all about the presents and the candy and the lights and the cookies. When it really should be about family, friends and the time we spend together. That is the meaning of christmas.

Thanksgiving and before

So this Thanksgiving was unlike any I have lived through before. There was no big fancy feast at the family get together, no trip to Scott Air Force Base and no big pumpkin pie baked by my grandma. There was only me, my brothers, my mom and dad all at home eating a turkey my mom had personally baked several hours before. It was a quiet time and we all talked and joked with each other. I am just not use to small dinners on holidays where before we had several times our own family all eating till our eyes bugged out of our heads.

The time before the holiday was quick, it usually is. Since growing up, I have realized that holidays are just that, one day a year and are over just as quickly as they come. I don't pretend I am not sad. But on the bright side I have a whole year ago to prepare for just that one special moument in which time will slow and I will see the faces of all my loved ones.

Mottos of the Imperial Guard

- This is General Sturnn of the Cadian 412th Regiment Imperial Guard. Only fools believe that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Still, the Eldar proved useful enough to bring my men into position, admittedly at cost to their own lives. They lay outside, being cut to the last as I speak. I cannot risk helping them. I will not trade the lives of my men for theirs. -
- You will fail this day, General. Without our soulstone the battle will be lost. The Necrons will sweep over you and drink your life out from the hollow vessel of your corpse! Without us you face your doom. -
- Eldar! The Cadian 412th have faced doom before. We bested it then and we will best it today! Die well! -
General Sturnn's address to Farseer Taldeer +++

You're all here because you are traitors to Mankind and the Immortal Emperor. You are here because you have failed in your sworn duty to protect his domains and subjects, and you have perverted his trust in you for your own misguided ends. You have sacrificed your part in securing the future of the whole of humanity for your own selfish gain. To kill you would be to accept that you can no longer save your immortal souls. If you were to be ushered into the Emperor's presence now, the scales would tip badly against you when the deeds of your life are weighed up by his Almighty Presence. This is why I give you a last chance to prove yourselves worthy of the Emperor's forgiveness. This is why you are here - to save yourselves from eternal damnation.

Another day in the life

The last week wasn't eventful at all compare to the others one, other than the fact that it was Halloween and I was stuck in Schnucks working all night.

The Imperial Fists were first formed on Terra, as shown by their earliest battle honour, 'Roma'. The legion had heavily recruited from Inwit with over 70% of the legion's strength as aspirant Space Marines when Rogal Dorn joined them. This means that the Legion was relatively young when it was united with its primarch, allowing them to form an unbreakable bond, based upon similar desires for self-discipline and total commitment to order.
After the Imperial Fists won a major victory against the Orks on the ash wastes of Necromunda, the Hive Lords consented to recruits being drawn from their population in gratitude. A Fortress-Chapel was duly consecrated but the Imperial Fists were there as esteemed guests, not masters. Rogal Dorn asked no special rights on the worlds where the Fists recruited. Some Primarchs, such as the increasingly mercurial Perturabo, took every opportunity to garrison a world and claim its tithes. Dorn is famously recorded as saying "I want recruits not vassals," and was always satisfied to keep his Legion as a military unit with none of the civil responsibilities that came with having a home world.
During the Great Crusade, the Imperial Fists acted as the strategic reserve of the Emperor's forces due to their ability to rapidly redeploy to battlefields aboard Phalanx. They made use of detailed planning and as such were soon found to be supreme city fighters and siege specialists. After several campaigns and thousands of conquered worlds, the Emperor returned to Terra to build a capital from which he could run his new empire. He took the Imperial Fists with him, set them up as his praetorians and charged Dorn with the construction of the Imperial Palace, something that didn't go unnoticed by the other Primarchs. Perturabo flew into a rage upon hearing that Dorn thought the Imperial Palace would be proof against assault by even as mighty siege-masters as the Iron Warriors and unleashed a torrent of vitriol and accusations so unfounded that the onlookers were dumbstruck. After this the two rarely spoke, neither Legion serving in the same campaign again. The Imperial Fists were ever at the Emperor's side and the Iron Warriors were part of Horus' vanguard.
